Window repairs are commonplace, and are tricky to do if you don't know what you're doing. So how can your window be repaired, and what does the process look like?
First things first, call a professional to give you a quick quote. If you like the price, schedule for a time for them to come measure the window (psst... our prices are very fair.) Once measurements are taken, it will take about 2 weeks time for the glass to be made. After that, its time to schedule for an install!
The install should take about an hour, depending on the window system. The old glass will removed from the window frame by using a special tool that cuts through the sealant, allowing the unit to be taken out. The frame is then cleaned and new sealant is applied. The new glass is carefully reinstalled and glazed into the frame, then reinstalled into the window opening! Voila!
